# Comment on terms

## Add a comment

Translators can comment on a term to communicate to colleagues and producers the status and needs of the term's translation. For example, a producer might notice that a translation is missing, so they add a comment to the term, 'Please add the French translation.'

When a term is either copied to or shared with another vocabulary, the term's comments are neither copied nor shared.

The comments box is available at the bottom-right of the term page:

## When someone else adds a comment

When someone else adds a comment, the new comment typeface color displays as red for a couple of minutes:

After a couple of minutes, the comment typeface color automatically turns black. All comments remain in Azure.
