Compare story revisions

When crafting stories, the comparison view makes it simple to spot the differences between two versions.

The UI clearly marks changes at four levels:

  • Story body: Use the Story body tab to detect changes to

    • Title

    • Subtitle

    • Story Parts

  • General settings: Use the General settings tab to detect changes to

    • Authorization Groups

    • List availability

  • Context and tags: Use the Context and tags tab to detect changes to

    • Context

    • Tags

  • Promotion: Use the Promotion tab to detect changes to

    • Featured content

The compare journey

  1. Enter a story detail and select History in the right toolbar:

  2. Once the History tab opens, select which version to compare to the previous one:

  3. The Compare versions window opens, which displays the Story body tab by default. A badge on top right of the tab names counts changes:

  4. Select each tab displaying a badge counting changes. In the following example, the Context and tags tab shows a badge indicating that there is a single modification between the context and tags:

  5. Once selected, each tab displays the related changes. In the example below, the Alpha tag has been removed:
