# Compare story revisions

When crafting stories, the comparison view makes it simple to spot the differences between two versions.

The UI clearly marks changes at four levels:

- **Story body**: Use the *Story body* tab to detect changes to
  - *Title*
  - *Subtitle*
  - *Story Parts*
- **General settings**: Use the *General settings* tab to detect changes to
  - *Authorization Groups*
  - *List availability*
- **Context and tags**: Use the *Context and tags* tab to detect changes to
  - *Context*
  - *Tags*
- **Promotion**: Use the *Promotion* tab to detect changes to
  - *Featured content*

## The compare journey

1. 2. 3. The *Compare versions* window opens, which displays the *Story body* tab by default. 4. Select each tab displaying a badge counting changes. 5. Once selected, each tab displays the related changes.
