# Create a reporter

## What is a reporter?

The reporter is a property of Live Blog posts. It allows to

- Qualify a post as home or away for matches with two teams (e.g., a football match)
- Publish as the post's author a name other than the editor who writes the post (e.g., in case of ghostwriting)

## Where to find the reporters section

Let’s add a new reporter! First click the **three lines** at the top of the left menu. Then select the *Reporters Management*option.

After completing these details, select *SAVE*. Your new reporter is saved and appears in the Reporters Management section.

Manage which reporters can feature in blog posts by using the toggle icons in the**Status**tab. Double-check which colors are applied to each reporter in the **Colors** tab. And, edit a reporter's details by double-clicking on a reporter profile.
