> From Deltatre Apps 1.0, DIVA Player (version 5.8) becomes the default video player. From Deltatre Apps releases 1.1 onwards, the latest version of DIVA Player is supported for sports and entertainment, as well as DIVA features, including the improved [End-of-Play experience](/v1/docs/end-of-play-experience).

## What is DIVA Player?

Deltatre’s DIVA Video Player is a front-end, streamlined, modern, customizable API-based SDK for new and existing customers supporting video, data, and rich user interactivity. Decoupling DIVA Player from DIVA Back Office, DIVA enables customers to integrate with their own choice of Online Video Platform (OVP).

## DIVA Back Office integration

If you choose to use DIVA Back Office, we've made the integration and configuration process easier and more intuitive for customer developers and operators. ## Analytics

Track precise low-level performance metrics, e.g., the time taken for a video to start and the average bitrate across certain devices in a particular graphical location. DIVA provides a Media Analytics interface via a new Conviva plugin implementation, as well as an API layer allowing 3rd parties to integrate with custom Media Analytics providers without making technical changes to DIVA.

## Video image quality

DIVA Player supports the device's base video player. This means that if the device in use supports HDR and, or 4K, DIVA Player presents content in this format.
