# Edit multimedia appearance in a story

## Change the appearance of a story part

Editors can change the size, alignment, and orientation of the story part content:

The table below lists what changes editors can make to story parts by using the *Part Properties*feature:

| **Story part** | **Configuration** |
| --- | --- |
| Photo | 1. Choose whether to hide the title, meaning an image will appear with no supporting text. 2. Override the existing caption by adding a new one. 3. Add a copyright section if there is a desire for the copyright credit to appear on the front-end of the product. 4. Decide whether an image appears as*Default*or *Top* Content. This means that, regardless of the other properties, the photo size is XXL, landscaped, and centered. 5. Change the**size** of an image on a desktop — ranging from *M* to *XXL*. Default is *L*. 6. Change the**alignment** of an image on desktop. Options are *right*, *left, and* *center*. 7. Change the**orientation** of an image on desktop. Options include *landscape*, *portrait, and* *square*. |
| Text | 1. Change the style of a text part — this is the background color. Editors can choose from *Default* (no color), *Light, and* *Dark*. 2. Change the *alignment* of a text part on desktop. Options are *right*, *left, and* *center*. |
| Video | 1. Override the existing caption by adding a new one. 2. Add a copyright section if there is a desire for the copyright credit to appear on the front-end of the product. 3. Decide whether a video appears as*Default*or *Top Content.* This means that regardless of the other properties, the video size is XXL, landscaped, and centered. 4. Decide whether the album displays as 1. A *Slideshow* (a carousel of content end users can click through). 2. A *Mosaic* (end users can see a preview of all album photos, but can click to enlarge each one). |

| Promo | 1. Change the**size** of a promo on desktop — ranging from *M* to *XXL*. Default is *L*. 2. Change the**alignment** of a promo on desktop. Options are *right*, *left, and* *center*. 3. Choose whether the promo appears in *Light*or *Dark* mode. |
