# Apple 5.6 Q4 '23

This release contains Chromeless mode, Thumbnail scrubbing, DIVA Back Office adapter improvements, and Session ID management on iOS and iPadOS.

### Chromeless mode

This release introduces the ability to embed videos that play automatically without any UI within sections of DIVA Player, for example, a trailer within a *list of tiles*, *hero rows*, or the *Item Detail page*.

Chromeless mode provides users with a video preview when browsing content, enriching the playback experience and aiming to increase engagement.

Supports basic controls via API callbacks and configurable Chromeless mode options including play/pause/stop/mute, set playback volume, and video replay (loop playback).

### Thumbnail scrubbing

This release transforms the ability to navigate accurately and easily to a specific moment within a video-on-demand (VOD) stream. The new visual timestamped thumbnail, situated above the scrub bar, improves the scrubbing user experience, helping to increase user satisfaction.

Hover on or select and drag the scrubber to activate the thumbnail scrubbing functionality.

### DIVA Back Office adapter improvements

In this release, the DIVA Back Office continues its evolution. It can now handle Server Side Ad Insertion (SSAI), delivering personalized and seamless adverts within video streams.

### Session ID management
