Pages display a mix of [dynamic content](/v1/docs/modules#dynamic-content) (e.g., in landing pages) and [static content](/v1/docs/modules#static-content) (e.g., marketing content). FORGE provides modules for both. Instead of creating pages from scratch, editors assemble reusable modules, each with a specific editorial role. Using modules consistently keeps pages clear, coherent, and easy to update over time. For a detailed description of the out-of-the-box modules: - The [Module parameters](/v1/docs/module-parameters) page introduces the parameter categories that allow configuring modules. - The [Module list](/v1/docs/module-list) folder contains the detailed description of all modules. > [!NOTE] > Left-to-right (LTR) and right-to-left (RTL) languages > > Modules do not include parameters to control text direction. LTR or RTL is a language property that the Page Builder sends to the front end, which is responsible for rendering the text correctly. ## Dynamic content The [Content Manager](/v1/docs/content) feeds dynamic content. The following table lists the page main elements that render dynamic content and the modules that describe them: | Page element (e.g., in a landing page or in a detail page) | Editorial purpose | FORGE modules | | --- | --- | --- | | Hero with featured story or promotion and primary CTA | Show the most important story or promotion on the page and clearly tell users what to do next. Typically, heros are used on Homepages. | [Hero modules](/v1/docs/hero-modules) | | Latest editorials | Show that the site is up to date by highlighting the latest and most relevant news, galleries, and videos. | [Editorial carousel modules](/v1/docs/editorial-carousel-modules) [Editorial grid modules](/v1/docs/editorial-grid-modules) | | Standings summary (players and/or teams) | Let users quickly see who is winning, who is losing, and where teams or players stand right now. | Modules for selected sports are available upon request. | | Statistics | Give users a fast way to see key stats and encourage them to explore detailed numbers. | Modules for selected sports are available upon request. | | Media highlights (matches, clips, recaps) | Show recent action through videos and highlights for users who prefer watching instead of reading. | [Editorial carousel modules](/v1/docs/editorial-carousel-modules) [Editorial grid modules](/v1/docs/editorial-grid-modules) | | Media gateway tiles (entry points to videos/photos hubs) | Encourage users to explore videos and photo galleries without showing everything on the homepage. | [Editorial carousel modules](/v1/docs/editorial-carousel-modules) [Editorial grid modules](/v1/docs/editorial-grid-modules) | | Editorial series or long-form content promotion | Promote in-depth stories and special series that go beyond daily news and match results. | [Featured carousel modules](/v1/docs/featured-carousel-modules) [Featured grid modules](/v1/docs/featured-grid-modules) [Featured masonry modules](/v1/docs/featured-masonry-modules) | | Broadcast / streaming partner promotion | Help users find where to watch matches and official content on approved platforms. | [Partner list modules](/v1/docs/partner-list-modules) | | Commerce promotion (merchandise, kits) | Promote official products related to teams or stories and encourage fans to buy them. | [Promo editorial carousel modules](/v1/docs/promo-editorial-carousel-modules) | | Partner/sponsor logo strip | Show sponsors and partners in a clear, non-intrusive way. | [Partner list modules](/v1/docs/partner-list-modules) | | Fan engagement sign-up/sign-in | Encourage users to stay in touch by signing up for updates or newsletters. | Either [account modules](/v1/docs/account-modules) or bespoke | | Story | Communicate stories, news, or analysis through structured narrative and context. | [Story modules](/v1/docs/story-modules) | | Video | Tell stories through motion and sound, capturing moments, emotion, and immediacy. | [Video modules](/v1/docs/video-modules) | | Album | Document events and moments visually, emphasizing presence and emotional resonance over explanation. | [Album modules](/v1/docs/album-modules) | ## Static content Unlike dynamic content, editors craft static content in the [Page Builder](/v1/docs/presentation). The following table lists modules describing static content: | Page element | Editorial purpose | FORGE modules | | --- | --- | --- | | Static text | Provide stable, authoritative information that explains rules, context, or intent without needing frequent updates. | [Static text modules](/v1/docs/static-text) | | Static image | Reinforce identity, tone, or atmosphere through a consistent visual without competing with dynamic editorial content. | [Static image modules](/v1/docs/static-image) |
