# Preview and publish a story

This article covers how to preview and publish stories.

## How to preview a story

Once you've tagged and added multimedia content to your story, preview how it displays in the front-end. To do this, select the *Preview* button on the top-right side of the page. Story preview opens in a new window.

## Discover the story URL

Regardless of the story status, e.g., *not published*, *published*, or *reviewed*, in the SEO tab, find the *Final URL* of the page. This is the URL that hosts the story.

The *Final URL* is available but not active unless stories are *published*.

> [!NOTE]
> **Note:**Story URLs match the properties of the story with the rules that assign the story to a specific page in the Page Builder. Any changes in these parameters and rules may result in URL changes.

## How to publish and schedule your story

To publish a story, select the *Publish* button. The story is published immediately.

To schedule the publication of a story, select the three-dot menu item in the top-right of the screen. Then, select *Schedule publishing*(it works the same for unpublishing stories):
