In this article, we cover how the many editorial entities you craft can be related.

## Overview

Create relations between editorial entities (text, photos, and videos). Define relations to guide users on their onward journey through your content.

For example, relating the *Alpha is there!* story to *The Alpha fans house* story, the front-end displays the *The Alpha fans house* story as a related item of the related story:

## Cross-types relations

Relate entities that are of the same type and different types, including custom entities but not editorial entities.

> **Note:**It's not possible to relate entities to editorial selections. Editorial selections are dynamic collections of entities without predetermined content, unlike other entity types that contain content.
