# Select languages for translating terms

## View languages

To view languages in the FORGE Vocabulary Tool, take the following steps:

1. Open the FORGE Vocabulary Tool landing page.
2. Select a vocabulary.

The example below shows the *Default Vocabulary*.

Once inside your Vocabulary, open the *Settings* tab. This gives you the vocabulary's details and a list of languages. Your product’s terms can, and should be, translated into these languages. There's no built-in automation: translators manually insert translations.

## Add a language

2. Select *Add Languages* and select the language(s) you want to add. Then select *Add Languages*and your language(s) appear in the list. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/2e698e3c-4773-44a4-9476-1d05bac85eee/Images/Documentation/10578766923548.png)

## Edit a language

1. Scroll down to the *Languages* section and move the mouse over the language to edit and select *Edit*: ![](https://cdn.document360.io/2e698e3c-4773-44a4-9476-1d05bac85eee/Images/Documentation/10578833508636.png)
2. The language *Settings* page pops up, where editing:
  1. *Language Name*: Free text with the name of the language.
  2. *Custom flag image*: A box to upload your custom flag image for the language; this helps to identify languages quickly. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/2e698e3c-4773-44a4-9476-1d05bac85eee/Images/Documentation/10578777900188.png)
3. Select *Save* to confirm your changes, or *Cancel* to discard changes.
