# Share a FORGE story on social media

This article details how to share stories on social media.

## Using the Sharing tab

This feature enables editors to share *published* stories on social media, directly from FORGE.

Editors can share published stories on three supported social media channels:

- Apple News
- Facebook
- X (former Twitter)

## Sharing a story on Apple News

To share a published story on Apple News, follow these**three** steps.

1. Select the *Sharing* tab in the right-hand column of a story, then open Apple News.
2. Select an *Account*, *Channel,* and *Template.* Each dropdown populates automatically when there's only one available option.
3. Select *SHARE ON APPLE NEWS*.

## Sharing a story on Facebook

To share a published story on Facebook, follow these**three** steps.

1. Select the *Sharing* tab in the right-hand column of a story, then open Facebook.
2. Select an *Account*, *Page, and* your *Post Text.* Each dropdown will fill automatically when there's only one available option.
3. Select *SHARE ON APPLE FACEBOOK*.

## Sharing a story on X (former Twitter)

To share a published story on X, follow these**three** steps.

1. Select the *Sharing* tab in the right-hand column of a story, then open X.
2. Select an *Account*and your *X Text.* Each dropdown will fill automatically when there's only one available option.
3. Select *SHARE ON APPLE TWITTER*.

## Viewing and deleting published posts

A message confirms when a post is successfully published. Editors can view their published posts from their chosen social media channels by using the *View* button. Editors have the option to remove published posts from their chosen social media channels by selecting *Delete*.
