# Sports rows

This article provides examples of sports-specific rows.

Each accordion represents a row type and examples of how the row displays alongside row information.

### C1 (1:1) row

> [!WARNING]
> **Compatibility notes:**
> 
> 1. The C1 row (1:1) type is supported by [AXIS 9.1](/v1/docs/axis-91-q4-20) and Ref Apps 6.2 releases for Responsive web, Apple, and Android. We modified the *SC1* row title to the *C1 Circle (1:1 or logo)* row in the [AXIS 9.2](/v1/docs/axis-92-q1-21) and the Ref Apps 6.3 release for Responsive web, Apple, and Android.
> 2. Introduced as part of [AXIS 9.2](/v1/docs/axis-92-q1-21), operators now have the ability to:
>   1. Specify the destination URL (specific row title link)
>   2. Set the image's bounding box (inset or outset)
>   3. Set the circle size (large or small)
>   4. Toggle on/off the display of the year/season information, e.g., *2021* or *2020-2021*

The C1 row now supports all asset types for both sports and entertainment. The C1 row lists [competitions](/v1/docs/competition-assets) belonging to a [confederation](/v1/docs/confederation-assets) and supports the display of a 1:1 square or logo inside or outside a circular bounding box, large or small in size.

This row supports pagination on Responsive web, Apple, and Android, and the *View all* tile on TV platforms.

### STV2 – Events (16:9) row

> 1. The sports-specific STV2 Events row is available from [AXIS 9.0](/v1/docs/axis-90-q3-20) and Ref Apps 6.0 releases for Responsive web, Apple, and Android. From Deltatre Apps version 1.0 onwards, the STV2 Events row is only supported on Web and WebTV.
> 2. The ability to define the *maximum number of assets* and display additional metadata, including the *stage/round* or the *competition/stage*, was introduced in [AXIS 9.2](/v1/docs/axis-92-q1-21), Ref Apps 6.3 for Responsive web, Apple, and Android.

The STV2 Events row (16:9) row type supports a vertical list of [event](/v1/docs/event-assets) assets (16:9) from the same [confederation](/v1/docs/confederation-assets) or [competitions](/v1/docs/competition-assets) with optional extra metadata.

### STV3 – Events (16:9) row

The ability to define the *maximum number of assets*, display additional metadata including the *stage/round*, or the *competition/stage*, and the *destination URL* (specific row title link) was introduced in [AXIS 9.2](/v1/docs/axis-92-q1-21), Ref Apps 6.3 for Responsive web, Apple, and Android.

This row type supports [event assets](/v1/docs/event-assets) in a vertical list. Asset tiles (16:9) from the same [confederation](/v1/docs/confederation-assets) or [competition](/v1/docs/competition-assets) display the Event title and tagline with optional extra metadata.

To surface related events, [asset relations](/v1/docs/asset-relations) (related asset types) and [list rules](/v1/docs/using-list-rules) (filters to control content in a row) must be configured. For example, use asset relations to relate event assets to [team assets](/v1/docs/team-assets), combined with the use of list rules to pull in related assets and control whether the row displays *live* or *past*events, sorted in a particular order event end date*(descending).*

### ST1 – Standard (16:9) row

> 1. The ST1 sports-specific row type is supported in [AXIS 9.0](/v1/docs/axis-90-q3-20) onwards, with Category page support from version 9.9.
> 2. ST1 row Ref App support on Responsive web, Apple, and Android from version 6.0 onwards.
> 3. ST1 row Ref App homepage support on Responsive web and WebTV from version 6.7 onwards.
> 4. The ability to surface additional metadata such as the *round/stage* through recorded event asset metadata was introduced in [AXIS 9.2](/v1/docs/axis-92-q1-21), Ref Apps 6.3 for Responsive web, Apple, and Android. If round/stage metadata and relations exist, information automatically displays on this row.

The ST1 Standard row (16:9) type supports a single horizontal scrollable row of [event](/v1/docs/event-assets) (16:9) asset tiles within a [competition](/v1/docs/competition-assets).

To surface related events, [asset relations](/v1/docs/asset-relations) (related asset types) and [list rules](/v1/docs/using-list-rules) (filters to control content in a row) must be configured. For example, use asset relations to relate event and/or [program](/v1/docs/program-assets) assets to [team](/v1/docs/team-assets) assets, combined with the use of list rules to pull in related assets and control the display, e.g., with a *start date greater than now*, sorted in a particular order *event end date (descending).*

### ST3 – Events grid (16:9) row

Include the ST3 row in your app homepage as part of the Ref Apps 6.9 release on Android mobile, tablet, and TV and Ref Apps 6.7 release for Responsive web and webTV and Apple, iPadOS, and tvOS.

The ability to toggle on/off the *stage selector*, define the *destination URL* (specific row title link), and display additional metadata, including the *stage/round*, or the *competition/stage*, was introduced in [AXIS 9.2](/v1/docs/axis-92-q1-21), Ref Apps 6.3 for Responsive web, Apple, and Android.

The ST3 Events grid (16:9) row type supports a double row of horizontal [event](/v1/docs/event-assets) assets (16:9) displaying all previous events within the asset's related [competition](/v1/docs/competition-assets).

### SHCF1 – Confederation hero (16:9) row

The SHCF1 Confederation hero (16:9) row is for the [confederation asset](/v1/docs/confederation-assets) type. This row type supports key asset metadata left-aligned over a wallpaper (16:9), alongside the sports confederation logo and optional extra sports information. The following metadata is displayed:

- Title
- Contextual title (for SEO purposes)
- Tagline
- Short description (not supported on mobile)
- [Text badge](/v1/docs/text-badges) (all device types running the relevant Reference App version 6.0 and above)
- Sport title

### SHC1 – Competition hero (16:9) row

>   1. Display information including the sport (Football) and the Confederation (UEFA); the year/season e.g., *2021* or *2020-2021*
>   2. Display related Confederation information
>   3. Display related Season information

The SHC1 Competition hero (16:9) row is for [competition assets](/v1/docs/competition-assets). This row type supports key asset metadata left-aligned over a wallpaper (16:9) and sports competition logo with optional *sport*, [*confederation*](/v1/docs/confederation-assets), and *season* information. The following metadata is displayed:

- Asset title
- Contextual title (for SEO purposes)
- Tagline
- Short description (not supported on mobile)
- [Text badge](/v1/docs/text-badges) (all device types running the relevant Reference App version 6.0 and above).
- Sport title
- Confederation (provided via [asset relations](/v1/docs/asset-relations))
- Year start and/or year end

### SHE1 – Event Hero (16:9) row

>   1. Sport
>   2. Competition
>   3. Stage
>   4. Round

The STH1 Event Hero (16:9) row is for [event assets](/v1/docs/event-assets) and displays assets or related asset key metadata and actions left-aligned over a wallpaper (16:9), alongside the event *logo*, with optional *sport*, [*competition*](/v1/docs/competition-assets), [*stage*](/v1/docs/stage-assets), and *round* information. The following metadata is displayed:

- For upcoming events, the *Watch Live* button is hidden and an [Event countdown timer](/v1/docs/live-content-display) (for events due to start in <7 days, a countdown timer appears above asset title) displays
- Title
- Contextual title (for SEO purposes)
- Item tagline
- Short description (not supported on mobile)
- [Text badge](/v1/docs/text-badges) (all device types running the relevant Reference App version 6.0 and above).
- Sport
- Competition title (provided via [asset relations](/v1/docs/asset-relations))
- Stage title (provided via [asset relations](/v1/docs/asset-relations))
