# Translations with language-driven workflow

---

## Overview

As an editor, you have to craft and publish content in many languages. FORGE manages the publishing workflow of the following editorial entities per language:

- Stories
- Single-language editorial selections

E.g., publish the English version of a story — or a single-language editorial selection — and independently keep unpublished the French one.

## Language-based workflow

The language-based workflow makes every translation of the editorial entities independently go through the publishing workflow described in [Crafting content with FORGE](/v1/docs/crafting-content-with-forge).

E.g., see below the stage of the translations of a story — each with an independent stage:

## How does the front-end look like?

On the front-end, language-driven entities, like stories, display the same content in different languages.

For example, in the image below, the same story about the science behind athletic performance displays the same content in English, Spanish, and Arabic.
