# Video Catalog introduction

This article introduces the Video Catalog within DIVA Back Office.

#### What is the Video Catalog?

The Video Catalog is a library of ingested video assets, including live and video-on-demand (VOD).

The Video Catalog contains a collection of video assets. Each video asset contains required information for the player to be able to repliably play an asset, for example, multiple replicas, metadata, and video sources.

Assets display in a sortable list with paginated rows and pages. At the bottom of the page, view the total number of assets and specify the rows displayed per page.

Sort the Video Catalog by:

- Kind: video asset type (live/VOD)
- Title: video asset title
- ID: video asset ID
- Status: video asset playback type (live/planned/on demand/scheduled)
- Active Replica: Primary_AMS/Main
- Auto Publish on CMS: auto/manual
- Ads: advertisements applied to stream
- Updated at: date and time of last asset update

#### Search

Search the Video Catalog to narrow the results displayed.

2. Enter a video title or ID (at least 3 characters)
3. Assets that match the applied search criteria display in the search results. The total number of results display on the bottom-left of the screen

#### Filter

Filter the Video Catalog to narrow down the results displayed.

1. Select the ![Video_catalog_-_filter.png](https://cdn.document360.io/2e698e3c-4773-44a4-9476-1d05bac85eee/Images/Documentation/5658354401820.png) icon to display filter options
2. Filter on Status, Translation, Auto-Publish on CMS, Kind, Ads
3. Assets that match the applied filter criteria display in the video catalog. The total number of results display on the bottom left of the screen.

#### Refresh

If you're expecting to see something that is not displaying, use the ![Video_catalog_-_refresh.png](https://cdn.document360.io/2e698e3c-4773-44a4-9476-1d05bac85eee/Images/Documentation/5658611159580.png) icon to reload the Video Catalog.

#### Video editor

From this view, operators can trim videos and sync video data.

#### Video options

Select the options icon for a specific video. Here, operators can copy the video ID, show details, unpublish, delete, or download video data.

1. Select a video by clicking the relevant checkbox.

2. Choose from the video options: copy ID, show details, unpublish, delete, or download VideoData.

#### Bulk actions

Use bulk actions to apply one action to multiple video assets in one action.

1. Select the top checkbox to select all video assets on the page or select individual checkboxes. The dynamic menu at the top of the table states the number of items selected.

2. Choose from the video options: publish, unpublish, edit, or delete selected assets.
