Editorial purpose

Use video modules to play video content.

Module variants

  • Brightcove video: Plays a video hosted on Brightcove, with full editorial metadata support. See an example of this module in action here: Brightcove video.

  • DIVA video: Plays a video hosted on DIVA, with optional vertical player support. See an example of this module in action here: DIVA video.

  • YouTube video: Plays a video hosted on YouTube, embedded within the editorial layout. See an example of this module in action here: YouTube video.

Standard parameters

Common parameters

  • Visual

    • Full Screen View: Toggle on to enable the full-width view.

    • Hide Module: Toggle on to prevent the module from displaying in the front end.

    • Color Schema: Specify whether the module appears in light (default value) or dark mode.

    • Remove Top Spacing: Toggle on to remove top spacing from the module.

    • Remove Bottom Spacing: Toggle on to remove bottom spacing from the module.

    • Hide Title: Toggle on to to hide the title.

    • Hide Description: Toggle on to hide the description.

    • Hide Tags: Toggle on to hide tags.

    • Hide Date: Toggle on to hide the date.

    • Hide ShareBar: Toggle on to hide the share bar.

  • Animation

    • Enable Animation: Toggle on to set module animation. The front-end implementation determines what the animation looks like.

  • Data

    • Video Slug: Slug of the video entity (Brightcove, DIVA, or YouTube) to play.

  • SEO

    • Prevent Setting Metadata: Toggle on to prevent overriding SEO setting metadata.

    • Title Heading Level: Title’s heading level (allowed values: h1, h2, h3, h4, and h5). The default value is h1 when preventSettingMetadata is not set. Otherwise, the default value is h2.

DIVA Video specific parameter

  • Vertical Player Mode: Toggle on to enable the vertical player mode.
