Editorial purpose

Use the Vesper video modules to play video content from VESPER.

Module

Native Support for VESPER Geo-Blocking

This module provides native support for VESPER geo-blocking. Any entity marked as geo-blocked is automatically excluded from the list.

Required navigation rules (aka link rules)

Entity → vesper-vod-video

Attribute → fields.videoId has a value

Page → e.g. ~/vesper/{videoid}/index

Standard parameters

• Visual

  • Hide module: Toggle on to temporarily prevent the module from displaying in the front end.

  • Full screen view: Toggle on to display the module in full-screen view.

  • Color schema: Specify whether the module appears in light or dark mode. The default value is light.

  • Remove top spacing: Toggle on to remove top spacing from the module.

  • Remove bottom spacing: Toggle on to remove bottom spacing from the module.

  • Hide title: Toggle on to hide the title.

  • Hide description: Toggle on to hide the description.

  • Hide tags: Toggle on to hide the tags.

  • Hide date: Toggle on to hide the date.

  • Hide ShareBar: Toggle on to hide the share bar.

  • Show collapsed ShareBar: Toggle on to display the share bar in collapsed mode. By default, the share bar is uncollapsed.

• Animation

  • Enable animation: Toggle on to enable module animation.

• Data

  • Vesper video slug: Slug of the Vesper video entity that feeds the module.

• SEO

  • Prevent setting metadata: Toggle on to prevent overriding setting metadata.

  • Title heading level: Select the heading level used for the title in the front end. Allowed values: are H1, H2, H3, H4, and H5. The default value is H2, or H1 when Prevent setting metadata is not enabled.
