What is the asset dashboard

Learn how the asset dashboard answers how many modules, layouts, and templates are available, which pages they're used on, and whether they're still available:

Identify unused assets: Use the Never used filter to find assets you can review or remove.
Identify deprecated assets: Use Undefined asset to find assets still used but no longer available.
Analyze impact: Check Number of pages to understand how widely an asset is used.
Navigate to pages: Select an asset and open pages from the Used in pages list.

Open the asset dashboard

In the left menu, select Assets.
The asset dashboard opens with the Modules tab selected.

You can switch between asset types:

Use dashboard tabs to explore:

What pages do include the assets.
The editorial status (published, reviewed, or unpublished) of the pages including assets.
What assets are never used.
What used assets are no longer available.

Summary

The total number of assets.

Filters

Page type: Filter by group of assets (page type).
Page status: Filter by published, unpublished, or reviewed page status.
Never used: Filter by assets that are not yet used on any page.
Undefined asset: Filter assets that are still used on some pages but are no longer in the available page types.

Asset list

Columns:

Asset name: The name of the module, layout, or template.
Page Type: The page type on which the asset is defined.
N. of pages: Number of pages using the asset.
N. of published pages : Number of published pages using the asset.
N. of reviewed pages : Number of reviewed pages using the asset.
N. of unpublished pages : Number of unpublished pages using the asset.

Asset detail

When you select a row:

Label: The asset name.
Page Type: The page type on which the asset is defined.
Used in Pages list: List of pages that contain the asset. Select the page to open and edit it.
