Note: This entity can be customized to fit bespoke needs. The fields described in this article may not coincide with the ones in your FORGE instance.

Where do I find Promos?

In the menu on the left, select the Promos icon:

Note: The Promos icon can be in a different place because of the custom entities in your FORGE instance.

Managing the Promo entity

When creating and managing a Promo entity, the entity-specific fields are:

  • Headline: The main promotional title used to attract attention to the campaign or offer.

  • Description: A short, engaging summary explaining the purpose and value of the promo.

  • Background Promo Image: A wide-format image used as the visual backdrop of the promotional content.

  • Font Promo Image: A foreground image (e.g. logo, product) layered over the background promo image.

  • Mobile App Promo Image: A promo image tailored specifically for display on mobile applications.

  • Promo URL Display Text: The text shown to users as a clickable label for the main promo link.

  • Promo URL Accessible Text: Text for screen readers describing the promo link's purpose or content.

  • Promo URL: The destination link for users to learn more or act on the promotion.

  • CTA Link Display Text: Button or link text encouraging user action (e.g., "Buy Now", "Watch Live").

  • CTA Link Accessible Text: Screen reader-friendly description of the call-to-action for improved accessibility.

  • CTA Link URL: The URL triggered when the primary call-to-action is clicked.

  • 2nd CTA Link Display Text: Optional secondary action label shown on the promo (e.g., "Learn More").

  • 2nd CTA Link Accessible Text: Screen reader description of the secondary CTA's function or destination.

  • 2nd CTA Link URL: URL for the secondary call-to-action, providing an alternate or supportive action.

  • Tracking Event Name: Identifier used to log and analyze user interaction with the promo.

  • Tracking Extended Field: Additional metadata for advanced tracking, segmentation, or campaign reporting.

Translations

Promo entities follow the language-independent workflow. The entity fields and publishing status can be different for each language. 

For example, a Promo can have different field values for the English UK language and for the French language. Also, the English UK Partner can be published while the French one is unpublished.
