Editorial purpose
Promo modules provide different ways of spotlighting the same promotional content.
All three are built on a Promo entity with fields such as headline, description, images and call‑to‑action links, and their shared editorial purpose is to highlight campaigns, products or initiatives without overpowering the main narrative.
Module variants
Promo: Use a Promo module to highlight a campaign, product or initiative within the body of a page without derailing the main narrative. See an example of this module in action here: Promo.
Promo Modal: The Promo Modal variant delivers a promotion in a modal dialog that overlays the page. Modals interrupt the user’s flow and demand an action, which is appropriate when user’s attention needs to be directed toward important information. See an example of this module in action here: Promo Modal.
Promo Modal Image: The Promo Modal Image module is a special modal that emphasises a large image as the core of the promotion. It follows the same attention‑grabbing pattern as the Promo Modal but uses a lightbox‑style modal to showcase rich visuals. See an example of this module in action here: Promo Modal Image.
