Custom panels

This article introduces Custom panels in DIVA.

Compatibility note: Custom panels are available on small screens only, as they rely on iframe HTML rendering. For big screens, please refer to the Stats panels article for further information.

What are Custom panels?

Custom panels are responsive web pages that link to DIVA via the settings file. Custom data displays within a new menu tab on the panel; use cases include gamification providing users statistics in an overlay during the event, information related to the event such as weather conditions or venue details, or a live blog integration. DIVA's video player supports adding custom content to panels in a fast and easy way without modifying the player code.

Supply contextual information to users based on the video, device, or user information if the custom data is set up alongside a path resolver.
