VESPER Live Event Videos

Introduction

Vesper Live Event Videos (Live Event Videos from now on) in FORGE are references to VESPER live events, which are streamed events played in real time on the VESPER platform. Streamed events have unique URLs and can later be linked to a video on demand (VOD) archive.

The specific fields are:

• Video ID (read-only): Unique identifier of the live event within VESPER.

• Video status (read-only): Current status of the live event. Allowed values: Live and Not live.

• Tournament ID (read-only): Unique identifier of the tournament associated with the live event.

• Sport ID (read-only): Unique identifier of the sport associated with the live event.

• Geo restriction type (read-only): Type of geo restriction applied to the video. Allowed values: BLACKLIST and WHITELIST.

• Geo restriction countries (read-only): List of countries used to enforce the geo restriction rules.

• Updated at (read-only): Timestamp indicating when the live event was last updated.

• Start date (read-only): Timestamp indicating when the live event starts.

• End date (read-only): Timestamp indicating when the live event ends.

• Multi audio (read-only): Indicates whether the event includes multiple audio tracks.

• Audio languages (read-only): List of audio languages available for the event.

• Closed captions (read-only): Indicates whether the event includes closed captions.

• Closed captions languages (read-only): List of languages available for closed captions.

• Audio only (read-only): Indicates whether the event is an audio-only stream.

• Sub events (read-only): List of sub-events associated with the live event.

Where do I find Live Event Videos?

Expand the left menu by selecting the expand button on top. Then, scroll to find the VESPER Live Event Video item.

Vesper to FORGE synchronization

Vesper is the source of truth for Live Event Videos.

When VESPER live events are created or modified in VESPER, the changes are automatically propagated to the corresponding FORGE entities.

When you modify the title, the changes are not propagated back to VESPER. If you edit the Title, this field is no longer synchronized with the corresponding field in the VESPER live events.

How to restore the synchronization

By setting the same value as the Title has in VESPER, you can restore the VESPER-to-FORGE synchronization.
