The new Story Editor helps you manage them with less friction by keeping control of story-parts and making it easier to add photos directly while editing.
In addition to the cross-entity changes, the main improvements are:
More visible story-parts data : See slugs, publication stages, and language visibility at a glance.
Direct photo upload: Add and publish images without leaving the story editor.
More visible story-parts data
Stories are built from reusable parts, like photos, documents, or albums.
In the old editor, these parts were listed by title only. The new editor adds key details so you can instantly understand what you’re working with.
Each included entity now shows:
Slug: The included entity’s slug related to the current language.
Stage: Whether the included entity is published, unpublished, or reviewed. In addition, for entities with translations—like photos—the Not visible label appears when they are not visible for the current language.

Upload photos
Uploading photos is one of the most common editing tasks. Now, it’s also one of the fastest.
The new Upload Photo option lets you add images right inside the story editor.
When you upload an image:
FORGE automatically creates a corresponding photo entity.
If configured, that entity is also published automatically and made visible in all languages.
No extra navigation, no manual linking: the story and its photos stay in sync.
