What's new
DIVA 5.0 on mobile and web
DIVA's new video player introduces major changes to project integration patterns. The new SDK 5.0 enhances flexibility and adaptability to alternative online video platforms (OVP) while retaining a unique and seamless user experience across platforms.
DIVA 5.0 is OVP agnostic, meaning it's now possible to adapt DIVA to more use cases and integrate with clients who already have an existing video workflow in place (OVP, Entitlements, CMS, etc.). This release empowers frontend developers with an enriched and growing set of APIs.
For General Analytics, we provide the same analytic events out-of-the-box as DIVA 4, now cleaned up and free from redundant information. For Media Analytics, we provide a new Conviva plugin implementation, as well as an API layer allowing 3rd parties to integrate with custom Media Analytics providers without making technical changes to DIVA (forking).
We encourage integrators to leverage DIVA's APIs to create additional components and plugins, contributing to DIVA's flourishing ecosystem.
It's now possible to integrate the DIVA player with AXIS, our UX management console and suite of multi-platform Reference Applications, and other systems. For existing projects, we provide a DIVA Back Office Adapter, smoothing the transition from DIVA 4 to DIVA 5. For further information, check out our Introducing DIVA 5 help center article.
