What's included

This is a follow-up release from DIVA 5.0 WebTV (beta) (Dec '21).

Media and General analytics

This follow-up release contains a Media Analytics Engine with Conviva support and General analytics.

Measure success and understand how your users interact with DIVA's video player on webTV with Media (e.g., time taken for a video to start) and General (e.g., playback performance) analytics.

Stabilized DIVA 5.0 WebTV features

Building on the DIVA 5.0 WebTV (beta) release in December '21, the features flagged as 'beta' have gone through regression testing. The following features are now stable:

Advertisements

DIVA now supports full integration with client and server-side, pre-roll, and mid-roll advertisements via Google IMA and Digital Ad Insertion (DAI) technologies. Learn more in our Advertisements article.

Subtitles and Captioning

End users can now enable transcriptions of dialog and written descriptions of relevant audio in various languages in DIVA. Read our Subtitles and Captioning article to learn more.

Timeline iconography

DIVA supports specifically designed timeline iconography for soccer/football, representing the most significant match activity on the interactive timeline. Operators can now choose to use custom timeline icons to represent any events in a video stream. Discover more in our interactive timeline article.

See the previous DIVA SDK 5.0 WebTV (beta) release for the full list of WebTV-supported features.
