What is the DIVA’s Audio player (beta)?

DIVA's Audio player (beta) is specifically built to enrich the traditional listening experience for audio content, including podcasts and music. Guide listeners on their onward journey with related and recommended content lists, such as more episodes, album tracks, or bonus material.

Featured artwork such as track, album, and podcast covers are center-aligned, using the same scaled-up and softened image in the background.

DIVA Audio player supports video-less DASH and HLS streams using AWS and DIVA Back Office.

Extended platform support for and additional functionality coming later in 2025.

When a podcast episode or track ends, DIVA automatically plays the next podcast episode or track in the album. When the last podcast episode or track on the album ends, DIVA displays the End-of-Play view with the following:

  • Recently ended podcast title

  • Podcast description

  • Replay CTA

  • Recommended podcasts

The minimized DIVA Audio player allows users to navigate around the app while listening to audio content. The minimized player can be positioned anywhere on the page. Here, users can:

  • Play/pause

  • Revert to full-screen player

  • Exit the audio player
