How to create an Authorization Group
In the Page Builder, grant users specific access to pages, folders, modules, and layouts through adding them to an Authorization Group. As explained in the create and assign user roles page, only those with Administrator roles can create Authorization Groups.
By default, users with the Digital Producer role — or a custom role you create — get read-only access to all pages and folders. To grant them further access, add them to an Authorization Group.
To create a new Authorization Group, take the following steps:
Select the Permissions section in the left menu.

Select Add a New Group:

Add a Group Name (once added, this can't be changed).
Add a Description (this is a mandatory step; the description can be updated in the future).
How to update an Authorization Group (add users, module, layout, and templates permissions)
Inside the Authorization Group:
Search for Authorization Groups assigned to a specific user.
Add or remove users.
Add or remove module permissions (all users in the group can edit the modules you add).
Add or remove layout permissions (all users in the group can edit the layouts you add).
Add or remove template permissions (all users in the group can edit the template you add).
See all the pages and folders the group has access to.
Complete the following actions in the below sections:
On the top left, enter the user name to get the list of the Authorization Groups the user is in.

Note: To assign an Authorization Group to a page or folder, follow the instructions in the page Add an Authorization Group to a page or folder.
Warning: When the Page Builder and the legacy Visual Site Manager (VSM) co-exist
The Page Builder and the legacy VSM allow operating on the same site structure, but they have separate page and folder permissions management.
When assigning Authorization Groups to pages and folders both in the Page Builder (e.g., Authorization Group A) and the legacy VSM (e.g., authorization group B), editors need to be within all Authorization Groups to operate on those pages and folders (e.g., they need Authorization Groups A and B).
