Overview
The FORGE 2025 Q4 release focuses on editorial workflow optimization.
The Content Manager adds tag automation and improves searching through the built-in entities (e.g., stories and photos).
The Page Builder adds facilities to synchronize the site structure across different environments, like moving from staging to production.
Also, the FORGE ecosystem switches to the open-source OpenTelemetry for observability. This makes FORGE vendor-independent and cost-effective when collecting traces, metrics, and logs.

The smart tag suggestion feature enhances the tagging process by providing intelligent recommendations based on the content being created or edited.
This feature streamlines the workflow for editors, allowing them to quickly assign relevant tags without extensive manual searching.

High-performance search across built-in entities

An optional search engine deployment that introduces greater flexibility for built-in entities (e.g., stories, photos, and albums) by:
Enabling partial word searches.
Searching content by terms, title, or slug.
Filtering by entity attributes.

Page Builder
Site structure import and export
.png?sv=2022-11-02&spr=https&st=2026-01-27T03%3A10%3A23Z&se=2026-01-27T03%3A22%3A23Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=RTfsjXGtmzReaDGLxGeyiCcV%2FwWh6I9OXGcccwT8ubg%3D)
Now editorial teams can export the site structure or part of it into a file and use it to import the same site structure in another Page Builder instance. This process reduces human errors and makes the editorial workflow more efficient.
Once the site structure is validated in a non-production environment, operators and editors can export it and make the changes available in production, via the import workflow.
Find more information in Site structure export and import.
Navigation rule import and export

Complementary to the site structure import and export, now editorial teams can export all navigation rules into a file and use it to import the same navigation rules in another Page Builder instance.
Once the navigation rules are validated in a non-production environment, operators and editors can export them and make the changes available in production, via the import workflow.

FORGE ecosystem
Flexible observability

By introducing OpenTelemetry as the observability framework, FORGE decouples the generation, collection, management, and export of telemetry data from its storage and visualization.
Based on client needs, FORGE can now connect to the most cost-effective storage and visualization of telemetry data.
