Overview
This release introduces the following new features on tvOS for DIVA 5.2, supporting tvOS 15+.
What's new
Accessibility features
We’ve expanded our accessibility coverage on tvOS to make DIVA Player as usable and inclusive as possible for all users. Use the links below to jump to a specific section to find out more:
Keyboard navigation
tvOS now supports keyboard navigation and interaction to help users with visual impairments and disabilities to navigate DIVA Player UI. Learn more in our accessibility article.
Badges
DIVA supports video list item badges to visually indicate further accessibility support for content before a selection is made. Video list items display an “AD” badge if an Audio Description track is available and a “CC” badge if at least one Closed Captions track is supported.
Check out our accessibility article for more information on badges. For more feature information, read our subtitles and captioning, and audio tracks articles.
tvOS native settings
Control features such as Reduce Transparency, VoiceOver (screen reader), and Subtitles and Captioning enhancements via tvOS native settings. Read more on each below.
Reduce Transparency
DIVA supports the ability to reduce transparency on specific UI (User Interface) elements, helping to increase the contrast between text and the background. Transparency is controlled via the tvOS native settings - learn more in our accessibility article.

VoiceOver (screen reader)
Control and interact with DIVA via screen reading functionality known as VoiceOver. Using two modes, navigation and exploration, DIVA on tvOS is now more accessible for all users.

Subtitles and Captioning enhancements
DIVA 5.2 on tvOS natively supports the enhancement of subtitles and captioning, including better visibility, clarity, and the ability to toggle on/off bold text. Read our accessibility article for more information and our subtitles and captioning article for further feature information.
Voice commands
DIVA tvOS users can now use the Siri button on the remote to control DIVA. Learn more about this in our accessibility article.
