User profile

Introduction

The User profile section lets you view and manage your preferences and content visibility settings in the FORGE Content Manager.

Use it to customize your working environment.

Access the User profile

• Select your profile icon in the top-right corner.

• Select User profile.

User profile sections

The User profile page has three sections:

• General preferences

• Your content visibility

• Your saved settings

General preferences

• Interface language: Select the language of the Content Manager user interface.
  

Your content visibility

• Unrestricted visibility: This read-only setting shows whether you can make your content visible to all users in FORGE.
  Administrators manage this setting from the Authorization Group page — see Permissions for further information.
  

• Set your default visibility: In the list of authorization groups assigned to you:

  1. Hover over a group.

  2. Select Set as default.
     

Your saved settings

This section lists your UI customizations. You can:

• Reset a single setting (e.g., Preferred view mode for story overview).

• Select Reset all to restore all default settings.
